First-Time Home Buyers of newly-constructed or re-sale homes are eligible to receive a rebate of Ontario Land Transfer Tax to a maximum sum of $2,000.00. The rebate is applied at the time of the purchase of the home and is dealt with by the lawyer that represents the home buyer.

Toronto Municipal Land Transfer Tax

First-Time Home Buyers of newly-constructed or re-sale homes are eligible to receive a rebate of Toronto’s Municipal Land Transfer Tax to a maximum sum of $3,725.00. The rebate is applied at the time of the purchase of the home and is dealt with by the lawyer that represents the home buyer.
